Me

I’m the events and marketing manager for an independent bookstore in New York City. I’m also a freelance writer, researcher and editor specializing in travel and books.
Recent articles have appeared in National Geographic Traveler and Transitions Abroad. I’ve contributed to several popular travel websites including Written Road, BootsnAll and AOL’s Gadling, where I covered news from the travel publishing world.
My professional background includes experience in public relations, retail marketing, higher education development and non-profit management. My primary personal interests are travel (maps and geography too) and books (reading, writing, literature, and literacy issues), and the wonderful ways in which these passions intersect in my life.
But my curiosities and interests are endless–art, poetry, film, hiking, baking, yoga, sustainability, activism. This website is just one place I use to explore whatever seems to come my way.
